Poole Council drafts in 'experts' at Bridge Exhibition

The People of Poole have been flocking to the Waterfront Museum to see the designs for the new Poole Harbour Bridge and find out more about what it will mean for Poole.

Waterfront Museum staff have been inundated with questions about the Bridge, many of quite a technical nature, which has prompted the Council to draft in its "experts" for more detailed information sessions. These "experts" will be on hand again next Tuesday and Wednesday 27 and 28 May, between 2pm - 4pm which will be the last of these sessions, as the exhibition draws to a close.

The exhibition, which opened at the beginning of May, has attracted over 2500 visitors to date and still has another week to run. Visitors have also had the opportunity to take part in a survey to find out what they think about the new bridge. The results of the survey will help the Council develop a plan of action to make Poole Harbour Bridge a reality.

The exhibition runs until Wednesday 28 May at the Waterfront Museum, High Street, Poole. Admission is free and opening times are 10am - 5pm, seven days a week. Telephone 01202 683138 for further details.
