Extended Bus Service for Tea Rooms Staff

Workers at the Peacock Tea Rooms at Upton Country Park are making full use of the 128  service from Poole Bus Station to get to work and back.

Our Transportation team recently took the opportunity to extend this experimental service to meet the needs of people with learning difficulties who work in the Tearooms. All the workers have undergone Travel Training and are now greatly enjoying their increased independence, and making use of their free Connect cards and travel wallets.

The 128 service runs Monday to Saturday three times a day to and from Upton Country Park via Creekmoor - why not hop on and visit our intrepid workers and enjoy a cup of tea and slice of delicious cake!
