Hosts to Welcome Poole Visitors Again this Summer

From today, visitors arriving at Poole’s main visitor car parks and attractions will be greeted by special Town Centre Hosts.

The team of four, sporting distinctive new navy and blue uniforms, will be on duty seven days a week from 11am to 4pm and will present drivers and visitors with free copies of the new Town Centre Guide.

The guide, packed with ideas for places to shop, visit and eat, aims to help visitors find their way around and make the most of their visit to Poole. It also contains a 3D town centre map and useful information on parking, shopmobility and summer events.

Jan Knox, Poole’s Town Centre Manager, said: "The feedback from our visitors after last year’s host initiative was very positive and has enabled us to fine tune our service for this season. Poole Town Centre has a great deal to offer, and we think this is the best way to reach new shoppers and visitors to the town and create the greatest impact on their arrival."

Sarah Morgan, Chairman of the Town Centre Management Board and Store Director at Beales, said: "We are delighted to be able provide this service to visitors again this summer. We feel it is so important to create a good impression and the first impression is usually the one that people tend to remember."

The Hosts will be on duty in and around the Town Centre until the end of August. They will also assist with valuable customer research, asking visitors for their opinions on Poole Town Centre’s facilities.
