Poole's Mansion House in Top 200 UK Hotels

Poole’s Mansion House has been awarded ‘red star’ status by the AA. The award means that it is one of the AA's top 200 hotels in the UK.

Graham Richardson, Tourism Manager, said: "My congratulations go to all at the Mansion House. The quality of Poole's accommodation is going from strength to strength and this award obviously reflects the hard work, determination and commitment put in by the Mansion House team."

The Mansion House in Poole was rewarded for having outstanding levels of quality, comfort, cleanliness and customer service. The award highlights the best hotels in the country there are only three other venues in Dorset with the award; Summer Lodge in Evershot, Stockhill Country House Hotel in Gillingham and the Salterns Hotel also in Poole.

Bruce Grant-Braham, Chairman of the Poole Tourism Panel, said: "The award confirms the Mansion House as one of Dorset’s most highly awarded hotels and restaurants, as it also holds two AA ‘Rosettes’ and three RAC awards – both for dining. Poole has an excellent reputation for good hospitality and this is yet another shining example of our commitment to making guests feel welcome and comfortable."
