Once again there’s a lot to do at the museum this half term! Witches and Wizards I Upon their arrival the hopeful candidates will make potions and pills. Candidates will then make a hat, be taught a spell, learn a chant and hear about the history of magic. All with a Harry Potter flavour in the spooky Scaplens Court Museum. Witches and Wizards II A similar event with different activities, so that both events can be attended. (Tickets in advance £3.50. For ages 7-12 years) Tour of Scaplens Court - history, architecture and archaeology A tour of Poole’s fine medieval Merchants House, that changed from a Tudor Inn, to a Georgian home, Victorian tenements and finally a museum. Learn about its fortunes and history from archaeologist Sarah Watson.
