Live on the Quay goes out with a BANG!

This week features the last ‘Live on the Quay’ event for this year - so come along and join in the fun and say farewell to the likes of the ‘Hobo Morris’ and the Celidh band - ‘9 feet Sergeants’ as they perform outside Oyster Quay. There will of course be a fantastic fireworks finale to give ‘Live on the Quay’ the send-off it deserves.

    Tuesdays on Poole Quay – CASTROL DREAM MACHINES

Continuing right up until the 24 September, when the Quay will be hosting ‘Bike of the Year’, the mission remains to find the ‘Bike of The Night’ to qualify for the final. The prize being the fabulous ‘Big Rock Holiday Superbike Weekend’ at Brands Hatch. Entry for the event is only £1 and season tickets are still available, the event finishes at 10pm.

    Wednesdays at Poole Stadium - POOLE SPEEDWAY

Poole is proud to host the 2002 Elite League Rider’s Championship. The night will include 16 riders from the Elite League including reigning World Champion, Tony Rickardsson and the current Elite League Champion, Jason Crump. As if all this wasn’t enough to whet your appetite; the night will also feature Grand Prix Duo, Mikael and Peter Karlsson. The tapes are up at 7.30pm.

    Alternate Thursdays with a spectacular fireworks finale at 10pm

!!! THIS WEEK !!! Live on the Quay - If you’ve managed to miss any of this year’s T2F’s fun, frolics and fireworks on the Quay then you have missed out! However, there’s one more chance to enjoy all this on Thursday. At the Thistle Hotel Swing City Big Band will be performing throughout the evening and the ‘Quayside Cloggies’ Dance groups will be livening up the Quay with their dance routines!

The Custom House will have live music set to entertain the crowds as they enjoy the delights of the barbecue, the Thistle Hotel also have a barbecue of their own, with cover band ‘Beyond Belief’ at Fish Shambles. Relax and enjoy the evening whilst overlooking the harbour ready for the last fireworks from the Quay this year.

Next week : Sands on the beach - next week is the last one so get down there and have fun with live music and entertainment throughout the evening at Sandbanks beach.

    Fridays - QUAY FOR MY CAR with the Daily Echo

It’s time for the Quay to start swinging again this Friday night. Gorgeous and groovy cars from the 60s will be lining the Quay until 10pm and if you are a Swinging 60’s car owner there is no need to book a place - just groove on down for 6pm.
