For one week only there’s a small but very significant difference - Wednesday’s Speedway will be switching to Monday 5 August as Poole hosts an amazing World Cup qualifying round. Poole riders, Hans Anderson and Bjarne Pederson will be there as will current World Grand Prix Champion Tony Rikardsson .

Tuesdays on Poole Quay – CASTROL DREAM MACHINES

Venture down to the Quay and have a look at the fantastic machines that riders of the UK, not just Poole have to display. The Bike of the Year competition is around the corner and winning Bike of The Night is the only way to qualify! Roads closed from 6pm to 10pm, tickets are £1.

Wednesdays at Poole Stadium - POOLE SPEEDWAY

No Speedway meeting this week - just a World Cup Qualifier on Monday!!

Alternate Thursdays with a spectacular fireworks finale at 10pm

!!! THIS WEEK !!! Live on the Quay - Poole Quay comes alive this Thursday and is brimming over with gorgeous treats, including tasty barbecues and mellow beats. The Thistle Hotel will be providing the venue for not only some of the barbecued food but also the location for ‘Cool Drumming’ - the Caribbean Steel Band. Cover band ‘Night Creatures’ will be doing their thing live at the Fish Shambles and ‘The Lemongrove’ will be playing some Jazz/Swing numbers outside Oyster Quay. There will also be a sumptuous barbecue care of The Custom House and the Southern Union Chorus will be singing their hearts out! The fireworks finale will be set off at 10pm and it will be as impressive as everyone has come to know and love.

Next week : Sands on the beach - have fun with live music and entertainment throughout the evening at Sandbanks beach. Fireworks finale at 10pm.

Fridays - QUAY FOR MY CAR with the Daily Echo

It’s that time again - Marvellous Minis invade the Quay this week and will be holding it to ransom with their cheeky little bonnets and gleaming headlights. If you’ve got a Mini to show off or if you love to look at Minis new or old come down to the Quay. If previous nights are anything to go by you can be sure there be a large variety! Roads close at 6pm and will re-open again at 10pm.
