Bogus Callers at the door!

Police advise that a high pressure sales team are operating in the Broadstone area selling community safety products.  You are advised not to buy from the doorstep and obtain at least three written quotes before purchasing any product at the door.

Community Safety have Bogus Caller Packs which are free and contain a lot of useful information regarding callers at the door.  If you know someone who is elderly or vulnerable and would like a pack, please contact Paula Wade on 01202 633430.

Remember to Stop! Chain! and Check! ....

Stop ... Do you know who is at the door, are you expecting anyone?

Chain ... Remember to use your door chain or door stay when opening the door

Check ... Check the caller's ID before letting them in.  If you are suspicious, close the door and ring the Police on 999

If in doubt, keep them out!!!
