Wedding Ceremonies at Upton House
Set in a rural location, Upton House is perfect venue to hold your wedding ceremony.
Ceremonies
The ceremony is performed by the Registrar and lasts approximately 15 minutes. Further information is available on arranging Civil Ceremonies by contacting the Borough of Poole's Registrar.
The fee for hire of a room is £385.00 which includes some floral decorations and background music if required. After the ceremony, photographs can be taken on our beautiful sweeping staircase or outside in the grounds of the park.
Ceremonies are usually held in the Drawing Room, which can accommodate up to 70 guests if desired. Wedding ceremonies can take place at Upton House on Friday and Saturday between 11.00am and 3.00pm (last ceremony at 3pm).
Wedding Receptions
Upton House is now taking bookings for wedding receptions. Please see details below for available options.
Drink Receptions
Ceremony, following by drinks & canapés in the dining room or on the lawn for a period of two hours directly after the ceremony. Maximum number of guests 50 persons. Drinks & canapés are available after the 3pm ceremony only at a cost of £195 for room hire.
Prices for selection of canapés and drinks will vary depending on requirements, please contact Country Park Catering Tel 01202 261023 for further details. The extended hire will be until 5.30pm.
Marquee Receptions
Marquee in the grounds for wedding breakfast and receptions. Maximum number of guests will be dependent upon size of marquee, however this is anticipated to be a maximum of 150 people.
The customer will be required to make their own arrangements with the marquee provider, however any marquee provider using Upton Country Park must be a member of the local "Performance Textiles Association" Please see list of approved local suppliers below. The site fee for this service is £950. Reception Marquees on Saturdays will only be permitted after 3pm and all functions will terminate by 12.30am.
