Books Of Remembrance
Books of Remembrance
Books of Remembrance are placed in the Book Room to perpetuate the memory of those cremated at Poole Crematorium.
Each volume is bound in calf vellum tooled with gold and emblazoned with the Borough Arms. There is a volume for each quarter of the year with a page for each day of the year. The volume will remain open each day at the appropriate page so that entries may be seen on each anniversary of the entry.
Relatives and friends may have a memorial entry consisting of two, five or eight lines recorded in the Book upon request. A badge, flower, etc. may be included with a five or eight line entry.
Memorial Cards containing a copy of the inscription written in the Book of Remembrance are available on request. These provide a personal family record and are suitable for sending to distant relatives and friends who cannot easily visit the Crematorium.
Floral Tributes
We can arrange for floral tributes to be placed in the Book of Remembrance room or in the waiting room at the crematorium to commemorate personal anniversaries.
