Hamworthy Park

This is two-phase project at Hamworthy Park to create a completely new toddler play area for the under 8 age group (Phase One) and refurbish the existing older children's play area (Phase Two).

Phase One was opened on Thursday, 24th May 2007

Work has now started on the design and development of Phase Two, to provide "a facility that offers a comprehensive, contemporary, innovative, exciting and challenging play experience" for young people aged 9yrs and older. 

Phase Two is expected to be completed and open for use by the school summer holidays (end July 2009).
