The equipment was completely redesigned and updated in 2012 as part of the playbuilder programme making this playground suitable for children of all ages and abilities with level access from the surrounding footpath system.
The choice of equipment has been aimed to offer a wide range of experiences for local children with special needs, who can now play with and alongside their friends.
Hatchard’s Field now offers a great new range of play equipment in a lovely setting, complemented with new areas of sensory shrub planting, mounds and landscaping There is adequate seating and picnic tables for parents and carers.
