Forward Plan

In accordance with Government Regulations the leader of the Council has given instructions for the preparation of a Forward Plan containing key and other decisions to be made by the Cabinet, Portfolio Holders and Council.

"Key Decisions" are defined in Poole Council’s Constitution as decisions of the Cabinet Portfolio Holder which are likely to:-

a) be significant in terms of its effects on any single Ward in the Borough; or
b) result in the Council incurring expenditure or making savings exceeding £250,000.

Notice is given that the Forward Plan will cover a period of four months and will be updated on a monthly basis. It will contain particulars of the matters in respect of which "decisions" are to be made. Each current Forward Plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours and free of charge at the Civic Centre, Poole (Contact: Tel: 01202 633021 – email Tim Martin

Each Forward Plan will contain a list of the documents to be submitted to the Cabinet or Portfolio Holder or Council to assist their consideration of decisions. Subject to any prohibitions or restriction on their disclosure, copies of, or extracts from, any document listed in the Forward Plan may be obtained on application to the Head of Democratic Services, Civic Centre, Poole, BH15 2RU. Other documents relevant to the matters included in the Forward Plan may be submitted to the Cabinet or Portfolio Holder or Council.
