Poole Lifeline Monitoring Service

If you want the Monitoring service please arrange to have at least 2 keyholders. More if you can provide them. These may be friends, relatives or neighbours who live close enough to get to you quickly in an emergency to allow access for the Emergency Services if they are required.

We therefore rely on your keyholders to attend at all times. We will not call an Ambulance until we know what help you need. This is to ensure we do not waste the Ambulance service's valuable resources.

In the event that we are unable to contact any of your key holders, we will ask the Police to assist in gaining entry to your property.

This may involve damage to your property for which you will liable.

Careful consideration must be given before you nominate a key holder as our definition of a key holder:

'is someone with access to your home and is available 24 hours day 7 day a week or within specific designated times as recorded at the time of installation'.

We will contact these people to ensure they understand their responsibilities and that they hold a key to your property. In the event of 1 or all of them being unable to fulfil this duty, other key holders must be nominated to allow the service to continue.

Please note that the Monitoring service cannot commence until at least 2 key holders are available.

Our representative will call to show you exactly how the equipment will work within your own home.

If you are happy to proceed the Lifeline equipment can usually be installed there and then.

Please note that our performance target time is that from the time your appointment is made to your appointment date is 5 working days.

We are currently achieving this 87% of the time.
