Mini Grants
Mini Grants are open all year round up to a maximum value of £250 and are open to newly constituted groups that support the people of Poole. The aim of the scheme is to help new groups get started, and offer financial support with the following:
- New community initiatives with regard to seed funding to develop a new group or project
- To promote volunteering
- To fund pieces of equipment or resources
- To assist with one-off events
- To assist with environmental projects that further the Council's objectives
The Council's objectives outlined in the corporate strategy for 2007/2008 include:
- Supporting Children and Young People
- Promoting Health and Well-Being
- Protecting Poole's Environment
- Strengthening our Communities
- Developing a Dynamic Economy
