• Wedding Fairs at Upton House

Upton House is a romantic Georgian Grade II* mansion, licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies.  The house is set in over 100 acres of beautiful award winning parkland and it provides a unique and stunning setting for your wedding ceremony and reception.

Your ceremony

Ceremonies are held in the period Drawing Room that can accommodate up to 70 guests.  Afterwards you can use the lawns and gardens to take your special photos.

Wedding Times

Weddings can be booked on a Friday or Saturday hourly between 11am and 3pm, depending on the availability of the House and the Registrar.  You need to speak to the Registrar directly to see if he/she is available.

Drinks and Canapés Receptions

If you book a 3pm wedding you can extend your stay until 5.30pm with drinks and canapés.  These can be served in the Dining Room or, if you prefer, on the lawn (weather permitting).  Country Park Catering provides this service for up to 70 guests.  For more information please telephone 01202 261023.

Evening Receptions

Evening receptions can be booked inside the house or you can arrange to have a marquee reception for up to 150 guests, hosted in the formal grounds.

Marquee Receptions will only be permitted after 3pm and all functions will terminate by 12.00am.

Price Guide

The fee for hire of the Drawing Room for your Ceremony is £470.00.  This includes a dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator to help make your special day run smoothly, use of the grand Entrance Hall staircase for photos, some floral decorations and background music if required.

The fee for the hire of the Dining Room for your Drinks and Canapé Reception is £235.00, following the 3pm ceremony only.

The fee for the site hire only for your Marquee is £470. We are pleased to offer a discount of £100 off Marquee site hire cost if you are also holding your Ceremony at Upton House - the cost including this discount is £370.

Catering is provided by Country Park Catering.  Please contact them directly for a quote for drinks and canapés.

Wedding Fairs at Upton House

The House normally has two wedding fairs each year - in Spring and Autumn.  Please see the attached poster for details of our next fair or keep an eye on our events page for more dates and details.  It's an ideal opportunity to come and see the inside of the House and to talk to our staff.
