Council - Members Allowances

All 42 of Poole's elected members receive a basic allowance. A number of members also receive a Special Responsibility Allowance (SRA) for additional duties. The Members' Allowance Scheme is agreed by Council following a recommendation by an independent panel.

The Council publishes an annual list of allowances paid to members under the scheme over the preceding municipal year. A PDF of this 2008/09 expenses are available in Downloads section on the right of the page.
