The beach at Sandbanks has been awarded both the European 'Blue Flag' and Tidy Britain Group 'Seaside Award' and it is a glorious beach of fine, golden sand, gradual sloping beach with clean, safe water.
It is an ideal place to visit with or without children. Canoes and pedalos are available for hire and there is a dedicated 'launch' zone for windsurfers. Tuition is available for both windsurfing and catarmaran sailing at nearby Shore Road.
Beach Office staff at Sandbanks administer all Poole's beaches, and any enquiries about Lost Property should be directed to them.
