Rockley View Point is situated on a hill above Hamworthy Common and access is via Rockley Holiday Park. This site offers panoramic views of Brownsea, Furzey, Green, Round and Long islands nestled in Poole Harbour and on the far side of the Wareham channel there is the large unspoilt area of the Arne peninsular.
To the west on a clear day it may be possible to see emerging from the rolling and wooded landscape the tower of Lady St. Mary church in the centre of the old Saxon town of Wareham. Here the River Frome joins Poole Harbour at the end of its journey to the sea. In the distance the Purbeck Hills frame the scene from the Eastern extremity, above Old Harry Rocks to well beyond Lulworth Cove in the West.
Rockley View Point provides a spectacular view at sunset.
