Overlinks Viewpoint is located at the dead end of Links View Avenue and the elevated peninsula of land extends into Parkstone Golf Course. The site is popular with local dog walkers and casual walkers and is predominantly pine woodland with some young broadleaf trees and heath species.
There is one point of access to the site, which is a footpath at the end of Links View Avenue. This path runs between two private properties and then along the elevated spine of the site to two benches at the viewpoint. The land either side of the path and around the Viewpoint slopes steeply down toward the golf course.
