Clifton Road Viewpoint is located between between Clifton Road, Links Road and St Osmund’s Road and is popular with local dog walkers and children (often with bicycles). The site is predominantly a Maritime and Scots Pine woodland with rhododendron and young broadleaved trees.
There are three points of access to the site - a footpath from St Osmund’s Road (passing between two houses); two paths from Clifton Road and open access from Links Road. A level path runs between Clifton Road and two marble seats are located at the viewpoint. This path passes a memorial stone dedicated to a previous owner of the land, a Mrs Jenning, who dedicated the land as public open space.
