Hamworthy Park Beach is a traditional "seaside park" situated in Lulworth Avenue to the west of Poole Bridge, one mile from the town centre. The total area of the park is 26.5 acres.
Located on the northern shore of Poole Harbour, Hamworthy Park Beach offers an oasis of peace and tranquillity from the busy town centre. It provides the setting for outstanding panoramic views over the middle and upper reaches of the harbour towards the Purbeck Hills in the distance.
There is a small Cafeteria that provides refreshments and ice cream during the summer months.
One hundred rustic beach huts complete the parks facilities.
