Our Commitment
- To provide an efficient and reliable garden waste collection service to designated properties
What is covered
- A fortnightly collection service
- We will provide designated households with a 240 litre green bin free of charge
- Households provided with a green bin are not permitted to place garden waste in their black bin
What is not covered
- We are unable to accept any garden waste not contained within your green bin
- Properties not serviced by the scheme. Please see Nuffield Household Waste Recycling Centre and Garden waste collection points for details of further facilities to dispose of garden waste
How you can help us
- Only put pre-stipulated items in your green bin as outlined on your bin lid and information pack.
- Bins should be presented by 7.00 a.m. on your day of collection with the handle facing the road. Failure to meet this requirement may result in your refuse waste not being collected.
Bins should be placed either:
- If your property fronts onto a road, adjacent to the pavement or in an easily available position in your garden not more than 1 metre from the pavement.
- If your property does not front onto a road, adjacent to the pavement alongside the nearest road that is accessible to a refuse collection vehicle.
