Our Commitment
- We aim to keep public land free of illegally deposited waste and where possible take enforcement action against those responsible
What is covered
- Removal of fly-tipped waste from public land within 2 working days of it being reported (where access permits)
- A chargeable service for the removal of fly tips from private property
What is not covered
- Free removal of flytips on private land
How you can help us
- Report flytippers, noting time, date and vehicle registration
- Do not put yourself at risk by touching the waste.
- The flytip may contain hazardous waste and also evidence that may help us identify the offender
If you are considering paying for someone else to dispose of waste on your behalf, you are now responsible for checking:
- That you are using a genuine/reputable company/individual
- Where they are proposing to take your waste
- They can give you a receipt for this service
