Locations of Public Toilets
Poole has 31 public toilets and a further 4 toilets located in cemetries.
Separate disabled facilities using RADAR keys are provided at 29 of the toilets. The five locations that do not have separate facilities are marked *** below.

When you are in the town centre, or on the sea-front, you are never more than 500 metres away from a public toilet.
*These public toilets are funded by the council but cleaned and maintained by the cafe owners and staff

***These public toilets do not have sparate disabled facilities.
Opening Times
Most public toilets are open between 8am and 6pm in Winter and 8am and 8pm in Summer. Seven toilets are open 24hrs per day.
Some toilets on Poole's beaches stay open until 10pm during the summer season.
Cleanliness
The Council has a contract for the cleansing of public convienences with an external contractor. Any cleansing complaint reported to the Council will be forwarded to the contractor for rectification e.g. no toilet roll, wet floor or no soap. The contract is monitored continuously by Council Officers.
Minor Fault
Minor faults include:- broken seats, no toilet roll holders, blocked toilets, broken lights, damaged lock. You can report these to us and our contractors will remedy as soon as possible.
Major Fault
Major faults include:- Serious flooding, no lighting, building faults, vandalism including graffiti. You can report these to us and our contractors will remedy as soon as possible.
RADAR Keys
Access to the 29 facilities that have separate Disabled Toilets is by a key from the national Radar Scheme, purchase your Radar Key from:

Baby Changing Facilities
A number of public toilets have separate baby changing facilities that can be accessed by both men and women.
Public Toilet Refurbishment
An extensive modernisation programme of public toilets has commenced. New facilities have been built at Chapel Lane, Constitution Hill, Poole Road and Quay Visitors.
The new facilities are of a brand new design, manufactured to reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour. The toilets are open 24hrs and there is a 10p charge to enter the toilets (free entry by radar key for disabled).
