Water Quality

Bathing Water Quality

Between May and September the Environment Agency sample bathing water to check compliance with EU quality standards. To check results for all Britain's beaches please check out reports on bathing water quality .

Mains water supply

We examine the quality of mains water in our food manufacturers. The water companies undertake regular sampling which are reported to the Drinking Water Inspectorate .

They are the national body for ensuring the quality of drinking water and annually publish reports . We are in the Western Region .

Your water bill will identify your mains water supplier. Two suppliers for our area are Wessex Water and Bournemouth and West Hampshire Water .
