Sport And Leisure Centres
There are three council owned leisure centres in Poole which are now managed by Sport and Leisure Management Ltd 
. A refurbishment programme which is due to be completed in 2007 will see all three sites equipped with the latest Health & Fitness facilities. Ashdown Leisure Centre
Ashdown Leisure Centre is located in Canford Heath, Ashdown is a daytime venue to the local secondary school and available for public use outside school hours. Ashdown boasts a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities and is home to a number of local clubs and teams.
Rossmore Leisure Centre
Rossmore Leisure Centre is a multi purpose sports and leisure facility providing a wide range of activities for the local community, schools and visitors to Poole.
Facilities at the Centre include a 25 metre swimming pool, 2 multi purpose sports halls (five-a-side football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, netball and cricket) and a children's soft play area.
A specialist centre for trampolining and gymnastics is also available with classes for children from beginners to international standard. The gymnastics and trampolining coaching staff are recognised to be amongst the best in the country.
Ease of access for people with disabilities:
Rossmore currently holds the Inclusive Fitness mark which is the nationally recognised standard of inclusion within the fitness industry.
Throughout the Centre careful thought has been given to the requirements for our customers with disabilities and special needs. All areas of the Centre are accessible and special equipment is provided in appropriate changing cubicles, toilet and shower areas. Provision has also been made for a pool side hoist.
Dolphin Swimming Pool
The Dolphin Swimming Pool is situated close to Poole town centre and has 3 pools - diving pool with 1,3 and 5 metre boards, teaching pool and 33 metre main swimming pool. There is ample spectator facilities.
Other facilities include an air conditioned fitness room and exercise studio.
Broadstone Leisure Centre
Broadstone Leisure Centre is a multi use facility that is managed by Poole Sports Trust. It is open to the public day, evening and weekends and is well situated with good transport links into Poole town centre.
