Whether you are a building owner, contractor or professional advisor working within the industry, we aim to work with you to help deliver a building that comply with the legislative standards for helath, safety, welfare, convenience, energy efficiency, sustainability and security in as fluent and cost effective manner as possible.
Our building surveyors are experienced in all aspects of building and enjoy close liaison with other public services and utility companies. We are therefore able to provide a comprehensive public service that brings together all of the interested services relevant to any particular project.
We work closely with our colleagues nationally to ensure that Local Authority Building Control (LABC) 
is at the forefront in providing a quality service.
Within Dorset we have set up a County-wide customer panel, the aim of which is to provide a focus through which our clients can guide the way in which we provide our services. This panel has been instrumental in developing our services and our standing within the local building industry. We have also created a technical panel, whose aims are to develop consistent interpretation of legislation across the Dorset authorities.
