Venues and Facilities

The first three floors of Poole Museum are open to the public as exhibition galleries. There is a dedicated Learning Suite on the fifth floor of the Museum. Learning Suite is used for some of our school activities sessions and can be converted into a pirate ship. The Learning Suite includes a small kitchen and disabled toilet.

Scaplen's Court

Scaplen's Court features period rooms, which create a fantastic setting for schools studying the Tudors and the Victorians. There is a Victorian schoolroom and a toys exhibition upstairs. There are toilet facilities and an indoor area for visiting groups to eat their lunches.

Upton Romano-British Farm

The Romano-British Farm is based at Upton Country Park and includes replica 400AD thatched, oak framed buildings.It is situated near to the Roman road that ran between Hamworthy and Lake (near Wimborne).
