Parking
There is parking, including disabled spaces, provided at most venues.
Refreshments
A coffee and rest lounge is available at The Oakdale Centre. A drinks machine is provided. The Centre also run a drinks and snacks facility most mornings.
Your tutor will advise you during your induction concerning facilities on other sites.
Health and Safety
While on course or involved in one of our activities you will need to be aware of our Health and Safety procedures.
Your tutor will tell you about these at your induction, drawing your attention to any specific considerations at the venue where the activity takes place.
If you have any concerns about any aspect of Health and Safety you should report them to your tutor immediately.
Accidents
All accidents/incidents must be reported.
Security
If you have concerns about suspicious people on site, deliberate damage to property, threatening behaviour or anything else, please tell a member of staff or report it to reception.
We do our best to ensure that all venues are safe but we need you to assist us.
IT Support
A team of staff provide maintenance, repair, installation and upgrading to all our systems and networks. Please report any equipment breakdown or failure to reception staff.
Please note:
- Installing or downloading software is not allowed
- Any learner abusing the network or Internet may be subject to disciplinary procedures
Beauty Treatments
Adult Learning Beauty Therapy department at the Oakdale Centre offers a range of
discounted beauty treatments at low cost including manicure, waxing, aromatherapy massage, Swedish massage, and hairdressing. All enquiries 262300.
Lost Property
Please do not leave any valuable or personal items unattended. It is your responsibility to ensure you look after your personal possessions.
- If you do find any items then please hand them in to the reception office.
- If you have lost anything then please report it to reception.
