Borrowing

You can borrow up to 10 items in any combination of books, audio books, DVDs, videos and CDs.
Books can be borrowed for three weeks initially - more if you renew them.
DVDs, videos, CDs and audiobooks can be hired for a week at a time (2 days for New Release DVDs and videos). There is a small charge for these items.
If your items are overdue make sure you contact us as soon as possible and renew them to stop charges increasing.
Items can be borrowed from and returned to any Poole Library – you don’t have to go back to the library you borrowed them from. We have a book return bin at Poole Asda , where you can return your books 24 hours a day, and there is a terminal in the bus station where you can renew items.
