Baby Rhymetime
Introduce your baby to stories and rhymes early, by bringing them to a Baby Rhymetime session. Each session lasts about 30 minutes and includes nursery rhymes, clapping rhymes, bouncing rhymes, counting rhymes, finger rhymes, action songs and songs using musical instruments.
By encouraging babies to develop an early love of language, rhymes and songs, parents can help to provide a firm foundation for learning to read. They’re great for under 2s and you can find a session at your local library – there’s no need to book, just come along.
We have a new session for grandparents at Broadstone Library - for details see below. These sessions begin with a hello song, followed by nursery rhymes with actions, and end with a good-bye song.
