The Central Library will be closed for one week from 25th to 30th August, re-opening on Monday 1st September.
This is so that essential work can be completed for the new single-floor library

About Poole Central Library
Come to Poole Central Library to discover a wide range of resources for reading, listening and viewing. The Library is situated on the second floor of the Dolphin Centre, accessible by a lift. You'll find a large selection of books, DVDs, videos and CDs to borrow, all the daily newspapers and a range of magazines to read here. Knowledgeable staff will help you find the information you need, or give you suggestions about what to read next. You can use a computer and access the internet free of charge. Your children will love their own library - look out for our special activities. Healthpoint, a specialist health information centre, is also based here.
