About This Library
Oakdale Library is opposite the Poole Adult Learning's Oakdale Centre in Wimborne Road.
We have regular storytimes for pre-school and primary-age children, and Baby Rhymetime once a month - a chance to meet other parents and have a cup of coffee/tea with us afterwards. We have a new parenting section, with books to borrow and information about what's on and who to talk to.
We also have strong links with a local Family History Group, a new section of books about researching your family tree, and expert staff who are willing to help!
