The CyberLibrary
is a selection of carefully chosen and evaluated websites - either browse the subject headings or search the A-Z list of subjects.
Ancestry is a family history website where you can access Census information (1841 to 1901), births, marriages and deaths, military records and much more. You can access Ancestry
free if you visit any of our libraries (but not from home). For more information about researching your family tree, go to our Local and Family History page.
Another resource available in libraries is the John Johnson collection
. This is essentially a collection of images of over 65000 printed illustrations spanning the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The collection is held in the Bodleian Library at Oxford.
