Simon HallBranksome Library 'Crime at Christmas' Party

On Thursday 11th December at 2.00 pm, Simon Hall (Crime writer and BBC Crime Correspondent for the South West) will be at Branksome Library talking about writing about crime, whether as a reporter or author.

Simon Hall is the author of 3 ingenious crime stories featuring TV crime correspondent, Dan Groves: A Popular Murder, The Death Pictures and Evil Valley.

The party will include readings, a fun quiz, a talk by Simon on reporting and writing crime and a Q & A session. Festive refreshments will be served. There will be an opportunity for book signings.

Rossmore Library live music event - NOW SOLD OUT

Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip (with support from Indie folk poet George Pringle) will be including Rossmore Library in their Christmas Tour. They will appear on Thursday 11th December  - doors open 7pm.

Tickets are available from Rossmore Library or Poole Central Library, price £6 (£5 for library members).

With a Top 30 single and Top 40 album, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip have garnered consistent support and continued interest from the UK's press. Providing intelligent, engaging pop music and endearing themselves to the mainstream media with their refreshingly lucid and entertaining approach onstage and in person.

  • Broadstone Library: "Make friends with a book" group. Meets every Thursday morning 11am - 12pm. Sit back and relax, listen to short stories and books and chat about what we read together.  Good conversation, good company and free tea and biscuits!
