Healthpoint library display

In addition to the Drop-in Centre at the back of Poole Library, we also have a regular stands around the library. If you are short of time, these can be a useful quick stop.

HealthpointLogoWe mainly use these areas to promote Health Awareness Days/Weeks/Months throughout the year, or to provide general health information - Healthy Lifestyle, Information for Older People, Christmas - in between.

August is the time for Outdoor Activities and, occasionally, Sun Safety and Heatwave information.

In September our display will be in the stairwell for Know Your Numbers (blood pressure) and Continence Awareness Weeks and we will also have a stand of general health leaflets in the entrance lobby.

We try to keep the table top displays well stocked and changing regularly so do cast an eye over the contents when visiting the library.

If you are unable to visit a display or missed a previous one, information is always available in the Healthpoint Drop-in Centre at the back of the library, or by post.

Wall mounted notice boards in the entrance lobby to the library are used to support group events and meetings, events and/or new/or existing services provided by the PCT and Poole Social Services, charity races e.g. British Heart Foundation sponsered cycle/swimming events and much more, so if you are part of a group organising any health or exercise activity and have a poster you would like us to display, or have information you would like to include in one of the displays please call in, or email details.
