Joint Area Review Timetable
A Joint Area Review
(JAR) is an inspection of Children and Young People's Services, to examine how services are working together locally to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Below is a timetable detailing the inspection process that is currently underway for the JAR in Poole.

Up until June | Review of Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP) - How we have performed against our objectives and priorities. |
| June | Report back on our progress and performance to the Department for Children, Schools and Families |
| August/September | JAR team examine findings of CYPP review, performance evidence and TELLUS feedback. |
| September | 100 cases submitted to JAR inspectors - we will identify 100 children known to social care, including children with disabilities, looked after children and children subject to protection plans. Inspectors will then choose 10 children from this list for inclusion in their inspection. |
| October | JAR visit to review documentation evidence and case files. |
| November | Notice of key lines of enquiry inspectors will be taking and shortlist provided of children they will focus on. |
| December | On site inspection. |
