Programme Of Link Visits
The termly link visits are structured as follows.
Summer Term Link Visit
Leadership- the Self Evaluation Form (SEF) is a requirement from Ofsted and the summer visit is an opportunity for the leader of each setting to self evaluate the quality of provision against the 5 outcomes of Every Child Matters. This visit is likely to be a joint visit with the settings Childcare Officer.
Autumn Term Link Visit
Planning for the year ahead- this assists settings in identifying areas for development for that academic year. An action plan identifying the actions, persons responsible and time scale for development is completed in liaison with the leader.
Spring Term Link Visit
Teaching and learning - this is an observation looking at all aspects of your setting's daily practice in the delivery of the Foundation Stage Curriculum. Good practice will be identified and recommendations for development will be made by your Early Learning Advisory Teacher. The action plan completed in the autumn term will be reviewed during this visit.
