The Localities and Childcare Team is committed to recruiting and keeping motivated people who will settle into the sector and enjoy their work. The Team work with others in the area of recruitment:
Job Centre Plus 
aims to
- promote work as the best form of welfare, helping unemployed and economically inactive people of working age compete effectively for work.
- provide appropriate support for those who cannot work
- encourage employers to provide more work opportunities for jobless people, helping employers fill their vacancies quickly
- address the key skills gap in those parts of the country or sectors of the economy where additional help is needed.
The Learning and Skills Council seek to train people in occupations where there is local demand.
Colleges and Training Providers provide training courses in Early Years, childcare and playwork.
The Careers Service and Connexions provide advice about jobs to young people up to the age of 19 still in education.
Voluntary, community and other organisations provide for effective access to underrepresented groups and are useful for volunteers.
