The Forum provides an opportunity for consultation on all aspects of Early Years and Childcare in Poole. It ensures the views of parents and providers are considered in the planning of future services.
Aims
Poole Sure Start Forum aims to work in partnership with other Agencies, Forums and Partnerships to meet the needs and interests of children, young people and their families in the Borough of Poole.
- It will provide an opportunity for consultation on all aspects of Early Years and Childcare in Poole.
- Ensure that the views of parents and providers are considered in the planning of future services.
Issues to talk about
- The development of children's centres and extended schools in Poole, together with regional and national updates.
- An introduction to locality working within Poole.
- Changes to the working arrangements of the Early Years Team.
- Information and display of Early Years Team services between sessions?
Who can attend Poole Sure Start Forum?
- parents or carers of any child
- childcare practitioners at any level of qualification
- members of child related agencies
- providers for early years and childcare
- childcare training providers and employment agencies
It would be helpful to have confirmation of your attendance in advance of the next meeting (to be confirmed) by contacting Marilyn Parrot, or if you prefer please just turn up and join either session on the day.
Full Creche facilities will be provided free, but please register your crèche space in advance by contacting Marilyn Parrot on 01202 261904.
