Upper School Dyslexia Service
The Upper School Dyslexia Centre is managed by us, but also accepts pupils of secondary age, who have been referred with severe dyslexia from all parts of Dorset.
Lessons are given in basic literacy skills including:
- reading
- writing
- spelling
Pupils are taught various study skills and learning techniques, helping them to cope with the demands of secondary school. The centre is equipped with:
- high quality computing facilities
- a library containing both factual books and suitably graded fiction
