Children and Young People's Social Care

Our aim is to work together with families, other agencies and the voluntary and community sector to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people and improve their life chances. We provide child protection services for children at risk of harm . We provide support to families with complex difficulties. We are responsible for services for children in care who cannot live with their own families.

We are open 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 09:00 to 16:15 on Friday. Our contact details are:-

There is a Social Care Out of hours service which operates outside our opening hours. The service operates seven days a week 17:00 to 08:40 Monday to Thursday and from 16:00 Friday to 08:40 Monday and Bank Holidays. Telephone number 01202 657279 (For use by Public and Agencies).
