Poole continues to welcome more arrivals and new investors to its business community and this edition includes news of some of those who have chosen to move here.

The Multi-Area Agreement recently signed by the Secretary of State for Communities & Local Government, promises to bring long-term economic benefits to the Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset area with particular emphasis being placed on skills and business growth.

Olympic fever gripped us all during the summer and now our attention is turning to London 2012 and the opportunities that it may present for Dorset. Young hopefuls are already in training but their success will depend on the level of funding they can secure. Sponsors are being sought to support those with potential to put this area on the Olympic map in four years time
