Saftey At Sports Grounds
Certain sports grounds require annual certification by the Council in order to ensure that facilities are safe for their intended use. Issues such as terrace and stand design, maintenance, spectator numbers, crush barriers etc. are assessed against recommended and statutory standards. We work closely with the owners of sports stadia and other agencies such as: the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services in order to ensure that spectator safety is not compromised.
