The petroleum licensing authority is Borough of Poole who are responsible for ensuring safety at sites where petrol is delivered, stored and dispensed.

These conditions form part of the licence to store Petroleum Spirit
The fees involved with these applications are:
Petroleum Licence - statutory (subject to review)
- not exceeding 2,500 litres £40.00
- 2,501-50,000 litres £55.00
- 50,000 litres & above £115.00
Transfer of petroleum spirit licence - statutory £8.00
