Parking Permit - Small Traders Permit
This permit is issued to assist local small traders in parking their vehicle during the course of their daily work. The permit grants exemption from certain types of parking and waiting restrictions, within the Borough. Traders will need to demonstrate that they have a need for constant access to their vehicle for tools, equipment or materials, in order to carry out their work.
The effective enforcement of parking restrictions is a key element of the Council’s Transport Strategy in terms of safety, access, reducing congestion and ensuring the most effective use of road space. This annual permit supplements the daily parking waiver system which is available to all business users. The permit/waiver is not intended for parking convenience.
