Grants for Non-Profit Organisations

One group of organisations that we consider key in delivering our Vision is those charities or not for profit bodies that exist to promote the well being of the town.
Some of these bodies have existed for many years and have a proven track record; others are relatively new and have developed in response to local need. Whichever is the case we recognise that they may better meet the needs of local people than direct Council services and we would wish to support them, within the limitations of our resources, to continue their good work.
We will therefore, consider offering grant aid to those bodies which meet the criteria.
