Annual Grant
One group of organisations that we consider key in delivering our Vision and Priorities are those charities or ‘not for profit’ bodies that exist to promote the well being of the town. Some of these bodies have existed for many years and have a proven track record; others are relatively new and have developed in response to local need. Whichever is the case we recognise that they may better meet the needs of local people than direct council services and we would wish to support them, within the limitations of our resources, to continue their good work.
Who can apply:
- New and existing constituted Voluntary and Community Organisations
We will, therefore, consider offering grant aid to those bodies which meet the following criteria:
- The services, facilities or activities provided are in line with the council’s vision and priorities in the Local Area Agreement as outlined above.
- The services, facilities or activities for which a grant is sought are wholly or mainly benefiting the residents of Poole.
