Learning Disabilities
Learning disability can be described as an arrested or incomplete development of the mind. People are born with this condition or develop it very shortly after birth. We work with over 400 people over the age of 18 who have a learning disability. We undertake assessments and regular reviews, develop Care Plan and commission services for people who are eligible. We do not work with individuals who have developed brain injury, either as a result of an accident or from substance mis-use. Please contact Healthpoint for information on brain injury organisations.
